Over the past 3 years, Locust Valley has hosted various qualifying tournaments for the Long Island First Tech Challenge program, bringing in 43 teams each weekend.

Kuiper is committed to the younger generations. Every year, we host a "Robotics Night," introducing young minds to the FIRST program. Since we began the "Robotics Night" tradition,  the number of Locust Valley FLL (First Lego League, ages 9-12) teams has gone from two to seven, creating a group of students interested in our program, and ensuring that Kuiper will be going strong far after our current team has graduated.

Team Kuiper will be attending the New York International Auto Show as an exhibitor, showing off our teams capabilities to attendees, and bringing new people to the organization of FIRST.
